In 1987 Nickelodeon launched it's second game show called Finders Keepers and which teams of kids had to find objects in a house and had to answer riddle type questions to gain a clue to find a mystery object somewhere in the house. The winning team had the chance to find as many objects as they could in a 60 second bonus round and if the team found the objects in time they won the game. When Finders Keepers debuted in 1987 Land Of The Lost actor Wesley Eure served as the original host then was replaced by Larry Toffler in the other seasons of Finders Keepers. It was a smart idea that Nickelodeon decided to have a game show night every weekday starting in Winter 1988 to put Finders Keepers directly after Double Dare because that was a good game show hour. Who knew that Finders Keepers would pave the way for other Nickelodeon game shows such as Make The Grade Get The Picture Nickelodeon Guts Nick Arcade and Legends Of The Hidden Temple. TeenNick should add Finders Keepers reruns to The Splat because that would be really cool to see

It is surprising that its been 30 years since Finders Keepers first debuted on Nick.

Hi, Bestie! I have seen that game show. I wish GSN or somebody would make one and call it scavenger hunt or something. You always have the greatest trivia and ideas for game shows! I wish you worked for GSN as an idea person.
