This season also found inspiration in Breaking Bad, which is why Rachel Bloom was dressed as Walter White. “Breaking Bad is probably Rachel and my number-one inspiration,” says co-creator Aline Brosh McKenna. “The yoke of likability is something that I really labored under for years writing romantic comedies.” ALSO: Crazy Ex-Girlfriend is the perfect corrective for one of the most draining weeks in entertainment history.
