Dirty joke in JJ's Condition

I just watched JJ's Condition, and I couldn't believe my ears when Penny made an (accidental) allusion about JJ performing cunnilingus on his girlfriend! How did Standards And Practices let that one slip through?

I had never seen this particular episode during its original run. I guess I had stopped watching it at this point, until Florida returned in the following season.

I was surprised by that joke too. I guess they felt they could get one by the 'Censors'!

I just watched the episode up to the point of where the joke was made. Dang. Took me a moment to think it through, but now I know what "eating out" means. It's a VERY funny scene but, yeah, how DID it pass censors circa 1978?!
