In 1989 the lovable and wonderful Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls had their own cartoon series on CBS called The Adventures Of Raggedy Ann And Andy which centered on Raggedy Ann And Andy and their owner Marcella who was also named after and based on Raggedy Ann creator Johnny Gruelle's daughter and whenever Marcella was not in the room Raggedy Ann and Andy would come to life and go on adventures with their friends Grouchy Bear and The Camel With The Wrinkled Knees. In fact to honor the cartoon a McDonald's Happy Meal based on The Adventures Of Raggedy Ann And Andy debuted in 1989 as well. It's really a shame that Raggedy Ann hasn't been seen on TV anymore since a Target Christmas ice skating show featuring Target's winter mascot Snowden the snowman and ice skating champion Scott Hamilton featured Raggedy Ann in the 90's and a Raggedy Ann musical animated Christmas cartoon special debuted in the 80's because Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls are popular with collectors and fans everywhere and another Raggedy Ann cartoon as well as this cartoon should be put on DVD for a new generation of Raggedy Ann fans everywhere in the world

I love Ragged y Ann and Andy!! All my life I have loved them and other rag dolls !! I always and still do collect them. Many I have had sinse I was a little girl!! I have more Raggedy Ann's than other rag dolls in different sizes!! I also have a few Strawberry Shortcake rag dolls.She is adorable too!!
