In Brother Versus Brother Beaver is up in the bathroom rubbing after shave lotion all over his arms. Wally just tells him to go eat breakfast. Was Beaver mentally challenged?? When he tells Mary no girls will walk home with him cuz they think he’s creepy she should have left before Wally came home.

That "girl likes older brother better" is one of those way-overused sitcom plots. And the younger sibling reaction is almost always the same.
