In 1990 Lorimar Television debuted Fun House in syndication and quickly grew to be one of the most popular kids game shows of the 90's and is still considered one of the most funnest game shows of all time. Fun House was also the debut game show for JD Roth who made his hosting debut at just 20 years old and is still hosting lots of game shows and other types of shows. Fun House featured teams of kids trying to earn tokens while trying to do various challenges throughout the fun house and the team with the most tokens got to compete in a special bonus round and if they completed the bonus round they won various prizes ranging from Disneyland vacations Universal Studios trips shopping sprees at stores and the famous British Knights brand of shoes which was a popular Fun House sponsor and prize. Fun House was also known for launching the career of actor Leonardo DiCaprio when he made his debut on Fun House as a contestant as a young teenager and there was also a video game of Fun House made for the Nintendo Entertainment System released as well. In fact Fun House was so popular that after it got cancelled Fun House was revived in 1995 and renamed College Fun House and aired on the E Entertainment Channel and hosted by actor Greg Kennear. It's a shame that you don't see kids game shows like Fun House anymore because Fun House was so cool to watch and full of great adventures and challenges to keep you on your toes
