Default The Ropers on LogoTV starting 10/23

I HATE Logo because they hackjob all of their shows to 18 minutes that were originally between 24-25. But I noticed that they WILL be beginning to air butchered 17/18 1/2 minute episodes of The Ropers starting October 23rd. Anybody who wants to see it, enjoy.

OMG....YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!

Shouldn't this be in the Ropers thread though? I am hoping with it being shown on Logo that means that Shout Factory will release the whole series on DVD soon!

An official DVD release would be nice. I have a bootleg that's pretty good quality with unedited episodes.

To be honest I didn't know there was a Ropers thread.

It'd be nice if Shout released it. I agree.

I'm not watching it because of the butchered episodes. I just posted it for the people who watch Logo for whatever reason...

I just wish Logo would stop butchering classic shows.

Eek

I didn't think Logo would ever air such a short-lived show from that long ago!

There are some people (like myself) who watch Logo because we're not blessed enough to have access to Antenna TV, MeTV or Decades. I get it, you hate the hackjobs, so do I. Just remember than not everyone has better alternatives.

Logo only airs The Facts of Life, The Nanny, Roseanne, Three's Company, The Golden Girls (on Weekends) and Alice anyway.

I get METV and Antenna but they don't show Alice (Antenna will be showing it soon I know) , The Nanny, One day at a time and Roseanne and LOGO does! Even if they are cut , I still get to enjoy what they do show of them, which to me doesn't really seem that hacked! Being that I have watched ODAAT recently on Antenna I have noticed some scenes cut out that I wished weren't , but what can you do? It's better than nothing! And also on the other flip of the coin, Antenna cut out parts of ODAAT that LOGO left in !

I just get annoyed with LOGO for all the show promotions (such as RuPaul) that they constantly keep showing! But still I say, oh well, it's the price you have to pay to see old shows that you like!
