The first picture is Emma Kenney (Harris), Laurie Metcalf (Jackie), Roseanne Barr (Roseanne), Michael Fishman (D.J.), Jayden Rey (D.J.’s daughter), EP Bruce Helford, EP Whitney Cummings, returning Co-EP Sid Youngers, Sarah Chalke (Becky No. 2, now appearing in a new role), Lecy Goranson (Becky No. 1), John Goodman (Dan, very much alive), Sara Gilbert (Darlene), Ames Mcnamara (David and Darlene’s son Mark), EP Tony Hernandez and returning EP/director John Pasquin

They filmed the first episode on October 6th, according to Michael Fishman's facebook. Those pics are weeks old.

David and Darlene named their son Mark. I like that very much.

It looks like DJ's child is part African-American. I like that, too.

Is that Johnny Galecki in the background of the second photo?

Seeing the set in the background gave me goosebumps.

Do you think these writers will last all eight episodes, or will they get canned by Roseanne after backstage feuds? Or do you think Roseanne has mellowed after 20 years?

Johnny Galecki isn't pictured, they are still in talks to have him appear in the revival. It looks like Andy and Jerry won't be characters in this series, I haven't seen one word written about them since the announcement of this revival. They'll instead focus on the original kids and grandkids. It looks like Roseanne is getting along very well with her costars and producers. I've seen a few pictures of Roseanne laughing with Sara in the writer's room. Here is a list of upcoming tapings. It looks like they just have to make if through early December to complete the 8 episodes.
