Ralph Kramden, a NY MLB fan? (Part 8) (The NY Yankees beat the Houston Astros 8-1.)

(Ralph & Ed come home into the Kramden apartment. Crowd cheers.)

Ralph: "Boy, what a game Norton. The Yankees really poured it on the Astros."

Ed: "They won 8-1."

(Alice comes out.)

Alice: "Hello boys. I sure wish you wouldn't come in here at 1am. Making so much noise."

Ralph: "We are going to make noise because the Yankees just showed the Astros who is the boss."

Ed: "The series will go to at least a game 5."

Ralph: "When the Yankees sweep the Astros at home, they will go back to Houston to enjoy their American League Championship win."

Alice: "Ralph, did you make any bet with anybody that the Yankees will win the World Series?"

Ed: "What do you think Alice?"

Alice: "I think he did. I think he wrote a check that his body can't cash."

Ed: "He will have a hard time getting INTO a bank."

Ralph: "Oh boy! You two are looking to get it. I didn't make any bet Alice & Ed. Name me one time when I did do that?"

Alice: "How about..."

Ralph (yells): "DON'T YOU DARE!"

Ed: "Ready for game 4 tonight Ralph?"

Ralph: "I sure am."

Alice: "Ralph, you can't do that. We are taking my whole family out to see a musical."

Ralph: "Alice, you don't mean to tell me that you are forcing me to MISS a game to hang out with that blabbermouth mother of yours and her whole clan that I can't stand. I'm not going to do it. You can plead and yell and plead and yell and plead and yell. If you do, UP YOU GO. I'm not going. THAT IS IT! THAT IS IT! THAT IS IT!"

Alice: "Ralph, we are going to see the Honeymooners musical at the Papermill Playhouse in Millburn, NJ."

Ralph: "Okay. You convinced me to go. I know that Jackie Gleason would love to see me go. He also would love it if that play played at the Fillmore at The Jackie Gleason Theater in Miami Beach."

(Crowd cheers.)

Ed: "Hey Ralph, you and Jackie Gleason have a lot in common. You two not only look alike as far as the face goes..."

(Crowd laughs wildly for obvious reasons.)

Ed: "...you two look like you eat like elephants."

Ralph (yells): "GET OUT! GET OUT! GET OUT! GEEEEEEEEEEEEET OUT!"

(Ed leaves.)

(Jackie walks on stage.)

Jackie: "Thank you. Ladies and gentlemen, I would so love it if I can convince the producers of the Honeymooners play to stage it right down here in Miami Beach just so they can witness a Miami Beach crowd."

(Crowd cheers.)

Jackie: "They will find out that the Miami Beach crowds are the BEST! GOOD NIGHT!"

(Crowd cheers.)
