I got a reply back from Antenna TV

I asked Antenna TV if they could add Dave's World and The John Larroquette Show to the schedule, and this is what they said.

We do not have the rights to the shows you mentioned, but they are on our wish list.

Man, this just ****** me off so much. Who has the rights to this then?

Dave's World hasn't been on nationally since the old PAX network aired it in the 90's. TJLS since USA aired it.

That’s Antenna TV’s response to anyone who request other shows. Just that automated response and nothing specific. I am so done with that channel.

I’ve seen people request shows all the time on their Facebook page and that’s exactly what they always respond with.

In my opinion though, the response didn't look automated.

They once replied to me that they didn't have access to a missing episode of Burns and Allen, but they scheduled it anyway. When it came time to actually air it, they substituted another episode. It's nice they reply, but you really can't trust what they say, or like the ones above, they just give a canned response.

I definitely want to see Dave's World, between Harry Anderson starring and being based on Dave Barry. Sadly it has not been syndicated at all since I got cable over a decade ago. Although if you don't have Antenna TV any more, wouldn't you want a different network airing your shows?

I Never watched Dave's World that much but it was a very agreeable sitcom. I'd like to see it again.
