I'm trying episode 3 of this new show. It seems more in the category of really awful instead of just bad. Why do all of these murder shows have to have main characters who are driven by unsolved murders within their immediate families? The characters are remarkable only for their blandness. And it looks really cheap.

I tried to watch the pilot but it was just so terrible - its almost like they couldn't form a complete concept for a show, but some network executive was stuck on the idea and forced them to keep producing it even though everyone involved was under the impression that it would never make to air so it didn't matter how bad it actually was.

I disagree. I have seen the first 3 episodes of Wisdom of the Crowd now and it is one of my favorite new shows. And Jeremy Piven was a good choice for lead actor.

It cannot be as bad as Star Trek Discovery is at least through first 8 episodes on CBS All Access. I now watch to see how badly the showrunners are making it! I kind of hook on Captain Lorca character but rest of the cast is PC oriented. I count Harry Mudd as guest star but he is not PC either. The new Klingons are just bad boys that do eat humans if need be! Total joke that showrunners have made the Klingons the main topic and they are at war with the Federation. The supposedly female lead character is a former lt. commander of a starship that was convicted of mutiny and sentence for life in prison and strip of her rank too, but is a totally PC character! LOL!

"Wisdom of the Crowd" Eyes Cancellation: No Back Order for Jeremy Piven CBS Drama Series
by Nellie Andreeva November 27, 2017 CBS has made a back order decision on its last remaining new fall series, opting not to pick up additional episodes of "Wisdom of the Crowd". The crime drama is slated to wrap production on its 13-episode original order in mid-December. Nine of them already have aired. For now, the plan is for the remaining four to continue to air in the series’ Sunday slot. The back order decision on "Wisdom of the Crowd", delayed almost to the last possible moment, had been being complicated by an investigation CBS recently launched into sexual harassment allegations against star Jeremy Piven. To keep the writers room open, the network had ordered three additional scripts. While Piven has vehemently denied any allegations, more and more women have come forward, most recently a former "Entourage" extra who claimed over the Thanksgiving break that the actor sexually assaulted her in 2009. "Wisdom of the Crowd" has not been a breakout hit, but is a steady modest ratings performer in the Sunday 8 PM slot where it has been getting boosts from NFL doubleheaders every other week. Last night's episode drew a 0.90 rating in adults 18-49 (Live+same day) and 6.9 million viewers, not far off from its first episode after the premiere (0.98, 7.8 million). http://deadline.com/2017/11/wisdom-o...ns-1202215103/ |

I guess we'll never know who killed Mia as the 1st season (series) has ended without them finding out.

"9JKL", "Me, Myself & & I", "Living Biblically" and "Wisdom of the Crowd" Officially Canceled at CBS
by Nellie Andreeva May 12, 2018 No surprise here — there will be no second seasons for CBS’ freshman series "9JKL", "Me, Myself & I", "Living Biblically" and "Wisdom of the Crowd". Neither series was expected to be renewed. All have been either pulled from the schedule or moved or not ordered for Back Nine. http://deadline.com/2018/05/9jkl-me-...bs-1202379854/ |
