Default Question: The recent interest in movies off TV WOC

Just curious why some of you like collecting these? I've been in the trading game for almost twenty years and it seems like only in the last maybe three or four years have people been interested in trading for movies off TV. Is it a nostalgia factor?

Hi
As a former trader it is nostalgic. I love watching old movies and TV show cartoon news sports from the past. It a reminder of the good old days. The better times . The childhood day watching TV with the family . Not like what on today. It fun watching old stuff. The past history from what they wore to what they drove to what we ate back then . A look back at the way we was. I may get back trading w/o/c stuff right now I buying a lot of my stuff to build my collection. So one day I will not have to watch much or any of today tv but my 50"s throw 80"s stuff

I collect them for mainly extra footage. The commercials are a added nostalgia factor for me. It's not absolutely necessary to have 'em. I just like having them to watch. Some broadcasts have made me feel like I'm right back in high school.

Something like a broadcast of the first X Men film off of fox with no alternate scenes I could careless about. Then like a TNT Monster Vision marathon with no alternate scenes but has all of the commercials and Joe Bobb Briggs inserts, well thats pure nostalgia and love to watch them.
