HBO had a cartoon series that was debuted in the 90's called Happily Ever After Fairy Tales For Every Child that featured fairy tales with a unique flavor and a fun spin on nursery rhymes. Among the fairy tales featured in the cartoon were The Frog Prince Rapunzel Little Red Riding Hood and many other fairy tales were featured too. Happily Ever After Fairy Tales For Every Child also featured an amazing celebrity cast providing the voices of the characters in each story ranging from Whoopi Goldberg Jasmine Guy Raven Symone and Regis Philbin and Joy Philbin. This cartoon series was such a wonderful show to introduce young children to fairy tales from faraway lands and HBO should air reruns of this cartoon again on their HBO Family Channel because it was well done. A soundtrack to Happily Ever After Fairy Tales For Every Child was also released containing all the wonderful songs featured in the cartoon series

HBO Family has been showing reruns of the series for quite a long time now.

I got to watch an episode of Happily Ever After Fairy Tales For Every Child on HBO today and the episode I saw was of The Frog Princess and I don't understand why HBO cancelled this unique cartoon series because I was impressed with the amazing animation and the episode that I saw today The Frog Princess was so wonderful and Jasmine Guy was so cool as the voice of the frog princess named Lila but I think this episode is where Disney got inspiration for The Princess And The Frog because if you look at the frog princess Lila she looks exactly to a T like Disney's Tiana in her frog form and also when Lila becomes human at the end of the episode she looks very similar to Tiana as a human. Also just like Tiana Princess Lila cooks too and also there are characters exactly like the characters Big Daddy and Charlotte LaBouff from the Disney version of the story. But if you're interested in fairy tales from around the world this cartoon series is worth checking out and features great songs too

Hi, Bestie! I don't know why HBO cancelled this cartoon. It reminded me of "Fractured Fairy Tales". It was a good cartoon.

I think 2020 will mark the 25th Anniversary of HBO's Happily Ever After, I suggest HBO Family might do a marathon of that show on that year.
