When Christina Aguilera released her self-titled debut album the song What A Girl Wants was released in it's original version and then as the song became more popular the whole album was rereleased and the copy of Christina Aguilera's debut album that I have has an entirely different version of the song and that this version of What A Girl Wants is referred to as the radio remix. The difference between this version and the original version of Christina Aguilera's song What A Girl Wants is that some lyrics are changed and the original version has a different intro
Did Christina Aguilera release two versions of What A Girl Wants to promote the album or as the song was released as a single Christina recorded a different remix of What A Girl Wants?

They remixed it when it was released as a single and it replaced the original version on future pressings of the cd. They did the same with Come On Over (All I Want is You).
