Extras in the cast were Jim Nolan as the First Man (the man who was in the shower when Beaver and Gilbert knocked on the door) and William Stevens as the Second Man (the man who blew his stack when he found they had mowed his lawn without being asked to, courtesy of Eddie's advice). Rory Stevens had been in the previous episode, Beaver's Frogs (he had some pretty funny lines, too). Wonder if William Stevens is Rory's and Rusty's dad.

I would probably say he's not Rusty's dad as this actor stayed in CA and still acted and supposedly Rusty's parents moved. However Rusty did do a few shows in '62 like Rifleman. William Stevens was a good bit player and handsome.
I loved how Eddie revealed his father laughed at him about the home permanent. Once again Eddie steered Beaver and Gilbert in the wrong direction. |

Yes, then Eddie said he doesn't think he's seriously told him anything since. The nasty things parents say when you're young really do stick with you. I still remember some cutting things my father said when I was very young.

Yup when parents say hurtful things even in a moment of anger it can really hurt a child. I don't think my mother ever said anything hurtful but remember my father making a remark about a hairstyle. It didn't hurt much because I hated it too. LOL

It must have hurt a little or it probably wouldn't have stuck with you. I suppose we should try to remember the good things.

You're right it did bother me cuz he said a really mean thing. He didn't hold back I guess. I wasn't pleased with this hairstyle so his comment made me feel I had to fix it unlike Wally who loved his jelly roll.
