Jennifer Holliday first caught everyone's attention in Dreamgirls on Broadway and later became known as a gospel singer recording lots of gospel albums before crossing over to the pop side with her first pop album I'm On Your Side in which the title song became a hit in 1991. Jennifer Holliday recently released an album called The Song Is You which features great covers of classic songs and her cover of Carly Simon's song Nobody Does It Better which was released as a single. You should get a Jennifer Holliday cd sometime and you'll be amazed at her talent and voice
