Default Scariest movie you've ever seen

It doesn't have to be a scary movie it can be any movie that has a scary/creepy scene in it

Willard - First time I saw this on tv I kept having nightmares about these large black sewer rats attacking me. I'm a 25 year old man (soon to be 26 this December) and I cringe whenever I see a Rat scurry across the floor

Honorable Mention - Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH - My dad use to rent this for me from the local video store when I was a kid I just saw it on tv for the first time in years a year back and took me till then to realize how scary The Great Owl and Nicodemus both are

This should be in the movie section

As a kid: Beyond The Door
Trilogy Of Terror
Don't Go To Sleep
Burnt Offerings
Race With The Devil
The Shuttered Room
Jaws
The Evil Dead
The Other

Ones that worked for me as an adult (some I would say creeped me out more than scared):

Ringu
Dead Birds
Session 9
The Innkeepers
Hell House LLC
The Houses October Built
Absentia
Noroi
Lake Mungo

As a kid, Beavis and Butthead Do America, since Beavis and Butthead really REALLY scared me. Now, the movie that scares me the most would be The Emergency Alert System Movie, if it existed.

When I was 6 years old my cousins made me watch Nightmare on Elm Street and my parents said I kept waking them up for days because I couldn't sleep because Freddy was invading my dreams and coming to attack me.

The Exorcist is the most disturbing movie I've ever seen.

When I was a child Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey (aka Bill & Ted go to Hell) scared the crap out of me in the theater. Nothing But Trouble was very scary for me as well. It used to give me nightmares.

Niles: God is forgiving, Miss Fine. When I was a boy, I once took five shillings out of the collection plate at church for toffee.
Fran: And nothing happened to you, right?
Niles: That's right, absolutely nothing. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go wash other peoples' underwear.

I was an adult when I saw Bogus Journey on the big screen during its original release, and I still found that Easter Bunny creepy.

I don't like scary movies. But once, when I was a child, I saw "What Ever Happened to Baby Jane" with Bette Davis and Joan Crawford. Scary.

When I was a kid, I remember seeing "Wait Until Dark" in a theater with my parents. There is a certain scene that scared the crap out of me and everyone in the room.

The Ring, in part because when I came home from the movie that night, all by myself, my phone rang.

I didn't dare answer it.
