Jerry Lewis passed away a couple of weeks. I read in his bio that he did an animated series in 1970 called Will the Real Jerry Lewis Please Sit Down? I saw clips on youtube and it funny but it is not a PC cartoon. It was based on the movie The Family Jewels with Jerry playing differant characters and even an Asian ( racist stereotype) . He was executive producer and didn't voice the show but David (Squiggy from Laverne and Shirley) Landers did. Jerry voiced an episode The Simpsons and that was better. I just thought I let everybody know and if anybody wants to see this on youtube for a laugh, enjoy. It's not bad. I know it won't come to DVD because of the racist Asian stereotype.

I'm somewhat familiar with the cartoon- it's a Filmation show from the late '60s and early '70s. It would be nice to see "Will The Real Jerry Lewis Please Sit Down?" on DVD as a tribute to Mr. Lewis, but it does seem doubtful that will happen, unfortunately. Sad to hear about Jerry Lewis' death- may God comfort his family in this sad time.
