Default Create a band!

You have recently been hired as the new manager for a band. The band can be any genre of music, and can be a cover or an original group.

Here's the catch. The members have to be all be from classic sitcoms. Any instrument is allowed, and only one current sitcom member will be allowed if you choose to.

N.U.D.E.L.E.S NEWS

The N.U.D.E.L.E.S to play first show entitled "Farewell To Summer" on September 21

By The N.U.D.E.L.E.S News Staff

The hot new group called The N.U.D.E.L.E.S have sure been working hard all summer long, and it shows! For most of the summer, they have been practicing in a brand new facility called Sitcom Studios, located at the Sitcoms Online headquarters. And now, they are ready to perform their very first gig entitled Farewell To Summer along with opening act Hooterville Honey Pots from Petticoat Junction. The band's sound is mainly jazz, but with a few other genres of music thrown in such as R&B, Motown, Folk, Rock, Soul, Dixieland, Country, and Doo-Wop. Opening act Hooterville Honeypots are folk, but have a little bit of country flair thrown into them.

John Larroquette, a band member, says this: "It's so nice to reunite with some of my Night Court family and to get back into music again. And with me being in my old group once more, it just makes me really feel like being back home in New Orleans and can't wait to pick up some of my old instruments again. The feeling is just really good and just warms my heart being with my old friends."

One of our staff members from the news team had to say this: "The rehearsals sound really good and I cannot wait to see the show on Thursday."

N.U.D.E.L.E.S NEWS

Tonight! THE N.U.D.E.L.E.S!

By The N.U.D.E.L.E.S News Staff

Last minute rehearsals are what's happening right now at Sitcom Studios. Another one of our staffers took a look at what's going on.

Emily: This is Emily from N.U.D.E.L.E.S NEWS. I am here at Sitcom Studios where a lot of action is happening at the moment. Let's talk with some of the band.

Emily: Are you Ellen Foley?

Ellen: Why yes I am.

Emily: And what was that scat singing all about when I walked into the studio?

Ellen: I was doing vocal warmups as a matter of fact. I'm getting ready to sing a jazz tune called Fever.

Emily: Ah. Peggy Lee. One of my favorites. I'm assuming that this is your big lead vocal debut?

Ellen: Yes it is.

Emily: Are you nervous at all Ellen?

Ellen: No. I've had experience singing rock before, so I'm no stranger with singing lead. *sings a snippet of Paradise By The Dashboard Light*

Emily: What a voice! Wish I could sing like you.

Ellen: It's not easy singing high vocals, that's for sure.

Emily: Let's meet a musician, shall we?

Markie: You must be Emily! I've heard about you before.

Emily: Just the person I was looking to talk to. I'm a huge fan of your role as Christine Sullivan on Night Court.

Markie: Why thank you very much for saying that.

Emily: Now tell me Markie. You got to show off your skill as a pianist on Not My Type, correct?

Markie: That is right, yes.

Emily: What was the piece you played? I forget how it went.

Markie: It was a song by Bach. It's called Two Part Invention in D Major.

Emily: Sounds like a beautiful song. Can you play some for me?

Markie: I would love to. *plays a little bit of song*

Emily: Now that is very beautiful. Are you going to incorporate more genres of music into the group?

Markie: I'll have to talk to John about that since he's the boss. I am hoping to do Blues, Boogie Woogie, and Zydeco though.

Emily: Before I go, let's talk to Gary, who is the drummer of the group.

Emily: Hi Gary!

Gary: Why how are you?

Emily: I'm doing alright, thanks for asking.

Gary: Would you like to hear this drum solo I'm working on? I have to play slow because my hand is messed up.

Emily: Of course! The band sounds really great right now.

Gary: They sure do! Wish I could play fast like the others, but because of how bad my hand is, I need to stick to slow playing.

Emily: Too bad about your hand, but I would love to hear the song you are working on.

*Gary plays song for Emily*

Emily: That is very good for such a slow player.

Gary: It's not easy playing drums that slow, but I think it sounds great. Maybe next time though, I'll just stick to hand percussion and tambourine.

Emily: It's probably best since you are struggling a little bit.

Emily: Well, it's time for me to go now. I'm for sure going to the show tonight and hope everyone else is planning on going to. Cannot wait to hear some Peggy Lee and jazz drumming later on. This has been Emily for N.U.D.E.L.E.S NEWS. See you at the show!

BREAKING NEWS!

Ellen Foley and Markie Post kicked out of The N.U.D.E.L.E.S after only one performance.

By The N.U.D.E.L.E.S NEWS Staff

Despite having such great reviews for both performers, the frontman of the band decided to have them leave the group.

Says John Larroquette: They were both very talented ladies, but I decided that I would like to have all males instead.

Both women were outraged by the news of their departures and demanded to return to the band. "Maybe they will come back for our upcoming Christmas shows or New Year's show, perhaps a small reunion".

Ellen Foley had to say this: "I am disgusted by the fact that I wasn't told ahead of time that I would be asked to leave the band."

Markie Post refused to comment for our News Staff, but later said something about her departure via phone.

Gary, the drummer, was very upset by the news because he said that he enjoyed having Markie around and liked the company of Ellen.

Despite all of that, the show turned out to be amazing! The staff is looking forward to their next show, which will be around Christmas.
