Default If you could change the schedule (Non-sitcom edition)

You have just been hired as the president and CEO of your favorite network or channel that doesn't show sitcoms or not something related to the topic.

What shows would you keep on that channel? What shows would you remove?

It will be interesting to hear people's responses.

This would be tough since The Disney Channel plays sitcoms. So does Nickelodeon.

But...Cartoon Network's Boomerang does not!

If I ran Boomerang...I would bring-back the older shows and most of the H-B Library. I would also show Tiny Toons, Animaniacs, Pinky and the Brain, and Freakazoid.

I would also show cartoons that aren't Warner owned like Garfield and Friends, Charlie Brown and Snoopy Show, and Sonic SatAM.

And if Disney would like to show their older shows on Boomerang like how Disney movies are seen on TCM...it should be The Disney Afternoon shows.

So Boomerang would be back to its nostalgic roots from the 50's to the 90's.

If I ran GSN, I'd bring back the B&Es that were there before (Tic Tac Dough, The Joker's Wild), and add all of Bullseye w/the late Jim Lange, and I'd get rid of the execrable Feud w/Steve Harvey.

It doesn't have to be sitcom related for this one.

Okay...if I could run MTV, I'd have more music related shows and return music videos.

What would go from MTV is reality show and things NOT music related.

If i’m control of the Game Show Network’s schedule, I can...

- cut down the airings of Family Feud(Steve Harvey version) & Newlywed Game(Sherri Shepherd version)
- remove Chain Reaction(Lane), Baggage and Idiotest
- add Starcade and Sports Challenge
- reairing reruns of the following classics:
Family Feud(Dawson)
Love Connection(Woolery)
$100,000 Pyramid(Clark)
The Price is Right(Barker 70s-80s era)
Sale of the Century(80s syndicated)
Wheel of Fortune(Sajak Pre-1997 era)
Blockbusters(Cullen)
Password Plus(Ludden)
What’s My Line(60s)
I’ve Got a Secret(60s)
- reinstating these modern shows by the following: Who Wants to Be a Millionaire(Regis/Meredith), That’s the Question, Catch 21, Hollywood Game Night & Minute to Win It to the schedule
- adding 7am/6c hour on Weekdays & 8am/7c hour on Weekends
- Having the Flashback Friday block and B&W Overnight Block to return
