Default If you could change the schedule

You have just been hired as the new president and CEO of your favorite network or channel that shows sitcoms or something related to sitcoms. You can either be head of Laff, MeTV, Antenna TV, COZI TV, Decades, Bounce, Grit, GetTV, Logo, INSP, UP, This TV, FETV, Buzzr, GSN, Nick@Nite, TV Land, or Aspire.

What shows would you keep on that channel? What shows would you remove?

It will be very interesting to hear people's responses to this.

I would be the head of Laff. I would switch everything around like it used to be and only keep Night Court on at night instead of the day and reduce the airings to two.

Man, this is a good topic!! I have to think about this. I could actually make a claim for being the head of all the networks you mentioned.

LAFF-I'd keep it the way it is. They air unedited episodes I believe, plus no credit crunch. The difference is that desperately need new shows.

Thank you! But the only rule is, you can only pick just one network. Multiple ones are not allowed.

What shows would you add to LAFF? Would you get rid of any?

I'd pick Antenna TV, and Maude, Family Ties, and Doogie Howser would definitely be leaving, Gidget, Small Wonder, The Partridge Family, The Monkees, It's About Time, The Flying Nun, and Sabrina would probably just get daytime slots between 8AM and 3PM. As for additions, you'd be seeing promos about these shows to be coming in 2019:

* Step by Step
* Dave's World
* The John Larroquette Show
* Who's the Boss
* Different Strokes
* Bachelor Father
* The Jack Benny Program
* Too Close for Comfort
* Home Improvement
* Perfect Strangers
* The Courtship of Eddie's Father

I'd choose MeTV. I would get rid of all the westerns, MASH, and Hogan's Heroes. I would add Sister Sister, Moesha, and The Parkers to afternoons. I would also move The Facts of Life, Petticoat Junction, and My Three Sons to evenings. I would also make Get Smart a daily show also in the evening. I would drop one Andy Griffith for Gomer Pyle. I would also put the Love Boat on Saturday nights and follow it with Fantasy Island. And once it expires on Antenna, I would move Family Ties over to Me.

For me, first of all the credit crunch needs to end and have the full closing credits played. As for what you've stated, I would want Maude and Family Ties to stay but Doogie can go. But the new shows you have for 2019 would be awesome as long as there's no credit crunch.

Sure, I could remove the credit crunch, but that would remove from advertisement time. Meaning that the actual shows themselves would be sped up/edited.
