I was watching a california episode this morning and came across this...
In the opening with New Years Eve 1965 at the end...first we see a shot of a white banner with orange letters on it....as it backs up we also see the top of the blue couch in the girls apartment (watch in slow motion to get a good look at all this) Then as it zooms out to show the cast the banner changes to ::Gasp:: an orange banner with blue letters and ::double gasp:: the back of the couch is out of sight because everyone is sitting on it. anyone else pick up on that? cara

Yeah, I caught that one about two years ago.
It's so obvious, I'm surprised no one else mentioned it!!!

Haha! That was a very obvious mistake on their account!
Have you ever seen booms and ceiling lights on the show? I have! You have to look very closely! Feenster Girl |

Garry Marshall, in his book, said "Matching is for sissies."
The person who edited the opening took the best takes and edited them together and didn't care if they matched or not. I get what Garry's saying, though. You either have a few continuity errors with good scenes and good acting, or you have no continuity errors with bad scenes. Personally, I'd rather have a few continuity errors with good scenes. |
