In the 90's Nickelodeon launched it's successful game show called Nickelodeon Arcade which was a game show that combined trivia with the world of video games. Hosted by Phil Moore and featured the awesome announcer Andrea Nickelodeon Arcade featured teams of kids testing their video game knowledge by first playing their first video game challenge and depending on how well they did the winning team was awarded points and gained control of a video game character named Mikey and each space had a challenge on it and the winning team got to play a special bonus round that had the team play in a video game and trying to defeat the boss at the end of the round to win various prizes. I remember when I first saw Nickelodeon Arcade for the first time that I owned almost every single video game featured in the Video Challenge arcade and it's a shame that Nickelodeon doesn't have any game shows devoted to video games anymore because Nickelodeon Arcade wasn't just a game show it was a show about awesomeness

Hi Bestie! With all the great game shows of the past to choose from, why does GSN keep rerunning the same old ones? I wish you were program manager at GSN!

Nick Arcade is my 2nd favorite Nick gameshow after Double Dare. It should have had a better run, 84 episodes is pathetic for such a great show!!!

The front game was AWESOME with so different things that the contestants could do: the 4 P's (Points, Puzzles, Pop Quizzes, and Prizes) and of course the Video Challenge where contestants would play the latest video games.

The bonus round was just okay, granted this was 1992 and the players going inside a Video Game was cutting edge at the time. If this show ever gets revived, I would hope they would create more fulfilling tasks for the contestants to do and more variety in terms of the worlds that the contestants would be in.

However, for the Front Game, DO NOT CHANGE a thing, except have more variety to pick from in the Video Challenge round.
