The American Academy of Environmental Medicine states,"Genetically Modified foods have not been properly tested and pose a serious health risk. There is more than a casual association between GM foods and adverse health effects. There is causation."

Last May the American Academy of Environmental Medicine (AAEM) called on "Physicians to educate their patients, the medical community, and the public to avoid GM (genetically modified) foods when possible and provide educational materials concerning GM foods and health risks." They called for a moratorium on GM foods, long-term independent studies, and labeling. [more]
Very good article!!!!

If 1/2 the people that waste time on this site were to go get active about food rights, and fight Codex, demand transparency from the FDA and expose Monsanto and the other evil food corps in america,we'd be in a much better position but i guess to most people ignorance is bliss and they can be lied to and led like the sheep they are!!!

That's certainly true.

On one hand the article says that the foods haven't been properly tested yet they claim that these foods cause health problems. If they hadn't been properly tested no one would know if they cause health problems. It's the same thing as this global warming hysteria where ignorant celebrities run around claiming to be expert climatologists and geologists. When you talk about ignorant sheep being led around no one fits the bill like liberals who will believe anything bad said about modern Western society.

How do you avoid GMO foods then? I find it hard, what's your alternative for potato and soy?

Avoiding GMO foods started showing up at Whole Foods probably 15 yrs ago or more, and now GMO stuff is out of a lot of foods, but now we gotta be concerned about the most recent attack on our dairy and meats, reading that MRNA jabs are injected in animals. .

Buying at farmers markets and holistic markets are the safest as I see it now.
