Thanksgiving marathons
In current days Syfy has aired annual marathons of The Twlight Zone on July 4 and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day. It is just used as filler any other time. Back in a 1996 episode of 7th Heaven a character mentions watching the Twilight Zone marathon on Thanksgiving. How long has Syfy had the exclusive cable rights?

According to their website, Syfy has been doing the marathons since New Year's Eve 1995. I don't know if they have the exclusive rights though.
To be honest I never knew there was a Thanksgiving marathon tradition. I thought it was just a New Years/July 4th thing. |
