Default Just had the weirdest experience on a family vacation

We all went to Virgina so we could go to Busch Gardens which is a section for rides and water slides. Then my 41 year old cousin gets a attitude with the entire family including her 14 year old daughter because none of us wanted to get on roller coasters????????

Is that not the dumbest thing you ever heard? So her attitude caused an argument with another family member and killed the entire mood of the family. This morning at breakfast no one was talking to each other and it's a shame the trip ended that way. Everything was fine on friday and saturday but on sunday my cousin became a weirdo.

Her 14 year old daughter could not understand why her mom was so irritable inside an amusement park.

I don't want to see my family the rest of the year after this experience

Did she ever consider that perhaps you didn't want to get on coasters because you were afraid of the loops?

she was probably upset because she didn't want to ride a coaster alone, and maybe that was the one thing she was looking forward to the most.

it sucks it ruined it for everyone else, but maybe should have made sure that there was someone that wanted to ride a coaster with her before she got her hopes up.

I'm not interested in roller coasters at all - I hate standing in the long lines for hours just for two minutes of discomfort; the safety bar jams right down against where I broke five ribs and causes extreme pain. Robyn loves coasters so if we go somewhere they have them we have to go with someone that will ride with her.

But she rode the roller coaster alone back in july when we went to a place called dorney park so what made this time so different? It was one person who went who didnt get on anything the entire weekend but that was him wasting his money. Lol. Why the hell would that bother me? Lol. He was the fool who paid $365 to go to Virgina and do nothing. Lol

The main point is she knew that all of us didnt get on roller coasters before the trip so to get mad during the trip is borderline ********

I stopped getting on rollercoasters in 1992 after getting on a roller coaster called the Comet at hershey park and it led to me having chest pains. Lol. Thats how big the drop was

I have a fear of heights, so I stopped going on them.

Same. I've literally only been on one kiddy roller coaster and that's it for me.

Riding the roller coaster isn't much fun without a buddy. Maybe she was hoping one of your family would change their mind & go with her. But she shouldn't have gotten mad about it.
