After Where In The World Is Carmen Sandiego? ended it's run PBS launched a second Carmen Sandiego game show titled Where In Time Is Carmen Sandiego? and featured a new host and theme song and this time three kid contestants had to catch Carmen Sandiego while going back in time to learn about different times in countries where Carmen might be at according to the various mysteries of each show and just like the original Carmen Sandiego game show each mystery case had a crook that had to be caught in a new round. Where In Time Is Carmen Sandiego also had a new bonus round that the winning kid contestant could win and if he/she caught Carmen Sandiego he/she won prizes. It's amazing how popular the Carmen Sandiego series of computer games by Broderbund Software had been and when PBS launched Where In The World Is Carmen Sandiego as a game show who would've guessed that a second game show of Carmen Sandiego would follow

Ah those were the days!!! I watched Carmen Santiago every day and I had the "Where in the World is CS?" and "Where in the USA is CS?" computer games for my Apple Macintosh Computer. This was back when their were next to zero games available to play on Apple.

The show's run was impressive for a kids gameshow it produced 410 episodes over 5 years, which is second only to Nickelodeon's Double Dare which produced 549 episodes over 7 years.

There is a Netflix show on "Carmen Santiago" that is going to be released in 2019. However, this will not be a gameshow. The 2019 show will be similar to the Saturday Morning FOX Cartoon which aired from 1994 to 1999.

Another fact about Where In Time Is Carmen Sandiego that you might find interesting is that the late Lynne Thigpen reprised her role as The Chief in this version of the game. Too bad Greg Lee couldn't return to host Where In Time Is Carmen Sandiego because he brought a funny style to the Where In The World Is Carmen Sandiego game show and Where In Time Is Carmen Sandiego would've been great with Greg Lee being the star
