Yes I realize these changes come only a couple weeks after the changes posted in the other thread, but this is apparently the official fall schedule, so I decided to make another thread. (Mods, you can merge this with the other one if you see fit)
This is all effective September 4th. Wagon Train comes to weekdays, Happy Days comes to weeknights replacing ALF which moves to Sunday mornings. The Saturday night lineup is jumbled a little, putting Svengoolie on in prime time. Sundays are shuffled a bit too with the addition of Facts of Life, The Lucy Show, Mama's Family and Touched by an Angel. NEW/RETURNING SHOWS: Happy Days, Highway Patrol, The Lucy Show, Touched By an Angel, The Fugitive, The Untouchables, Peter Gunn LEAVING SHOWS: Our Miss Brooks, Rhoda, Love American Style, Kolchak the Night Stalker, Sledge Hammer, Car 54 Where Are You, The Phil Silvers Show, The Alfred Hitchcock Hour SCHEDULE PDF: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B-...XlWM2t6NUxJM2s WEEKDAYS: 5AM: Highway Patrol 5:30: The Donna Reed Show 6AM: The Facts of Life 6:30: The Brady Bunch 7AM: The Beverly Hillbillies 7:30: My Three Sons 8AM: Leave it to Beaver 8:30: Leave it to Beaver 9AM: Perry Mason 10AM: Matlock 11AM: Diagnosis Murder 12PM: The Big Valley 1PM: Gunsmoke 1:30: Gunsmoke 2PM: Bonanza 3PM: The Rifleman 3:30: The Rifleman 4PM: Wagon Train 5PM: TJ Hooker 6PM: Hawaii Five-0 7PM: MASH 7:30: MASH 8PM: The Andy Griffith Show or Gomer Pyle USMC 8:30: The Andy Griffith Show or Gomer Pyle USMC 9PM: Mama's Family 9:30: Happy Days 10PM: Hogan's Heroes 10:30: Hogan's Heroes 11PM: Carol Burnett 11:30: Perry Mason 12:30: The Twilight Zone 1AM: Alfred Hitchcock Presents 1:30: Alfred Hitchcock Presents 2AM: Mannix 3AM: Cannon 4AM: 77 Sunset Strip SATURDAY: 5AM: Gomer Pyle USMC 5:30: Gomer Pyle USMC 6AM: Petticoat Junction 6:30: Petticoat Junction 7AM: Beverly Hillbillies 7:30: Beverly Hillbillies 8AM: Trackdown 8:30: Trackdown 9AM: Have Gun Will Travel 9:30: Have Gun Will Travel 10AM: Maverick 11AM: Wagon Train 12PM: The Big Valley 1PM: Gunsmoke 2PM: Bonanza 3PM: Rawhide 4PM: Wanted Dead or Alive 4:30: Wanted Dead or Alive 5PM: The Rifleman 5:30: The Rifleman 6PM: The Wild Wild West 7PM: Wonder Woman 8PM: Svengoolie 10PM: Batman 10:30: Batman 11PM: Star Trek 12AM: Battlestar Galactica 1AM: Outer Limits 2AM: Outer Limits 3AM: Lost in Space 4AM: Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea SUNDAYS 5AM: Swamp Thing 5:30: Swamp Thing 6AM: ALF 6:30: ALF 7AM: Mystery Hunters (E/I) 7:30: Mystery Hungers (E/I) 8AM: Beakman's World (E/I) 8:30: Beakman's World (E/I) 9AM: Bill Nye (E/I) 9:30: Bill Nye (E/I) 10AM: Saved by the Bell (E/I) 10:30: Saved by the Bell (E/I) 11AM: Saved by the Bell (E/I) 11:30: Saved by the Bell (E/I) 12PM: The Brady Bunch Brunch 2PM: The Facts of Life 2:30: The Facts of Life 3PM: Mama's Family 3:30: Mama's Family 4PM: I Love Lucy 4:30: The Lucy Show 5PM: The Love Boat 6PM: The Love Boat 7PM: Touched By an Angel 8PM: Columbo 10PM: Touched By an Angel 11PM: The Honeymooners 11:30: The Odd Couple 12AM: Cheers 12:30: The Bob Newhart Show 1AM: The Mary Tyler Moore Show 1:30: Taxi 2AM: The Fugitive 3AM: The Untouchables 4AM: Peter Gunn 4:30: Peter Gunn |

The addition of Highway Patrol is interesting. Too bad they are sticking with Hogan...obviously it's working for them.
Mama's Family has evidently worked at 9 pm. Too bad about ALF (I know many were glad to see that added), but at least it wasn't totally removed. Same for Petticoat Junction. I definitely like Sunday afternoons (which must have been a bust on Summer of Me). One more comment: do we really need more westerns in the afternoon? I guess they think so! |

Saturday mornings are good but too early and Saturday afternoons are crap as always. Glad to see Facts of Life on Sunday afternoons and also glad to see Touched by an Angel Sunday nights.

Touched by an Angel is a good show but why couldn't they find another slot for it and move Last Laughs up an hour.
I like that Mama's Family & Facts of Life are on Sundays now. Poor ALF got the shaft. Wagon Train on weekdays...ugh...another western. MASH & Hogan's Heroes still hangin on like a bad hangnail. These need to go or at least be put at another time. |

Yeah I forgot to complain about MASH--it's overstayed its welcome even more than Hogan.

More westerns? I'll keep switching over to Designing Women at 11 on a different channel and watching two hours of that after Matlock.
I'm also sick of Hogan's Heroes but I'm getting my teens into MASH, so I'm happy it's staying. |

Why on earth:
* are they keeping their massive Westerns block on at 12 PM? Gunsmoke and Bonanza especially have been in that same spot since forever. * are they keeping the MASH eternally at 7:00 PM? * are they still wasting precious primetime slots by running two Hogan's Heroes at 10? * do they still wait until 11 PM on Sundays to start their sitcom block?? Most of my complaints are about what they HAVEN'T changed rather than what they have. It's really starting to get old. They could use a big schedule overhaul. |

I'm sick of MASH and Hogan's Hereoes but they obviously draw the ratings so I guess that's why they stay. I'll miss shows like Our Miss Brooks, The Alfred Hitchcock Hour, and Mayberry RFD as they're not available on DVD. For my tastes it's not an improvement at all.

I'll probably watch:
Weekdays: 6pm: Hawaii Five-0 8-9pm: Gomer Pyle 9pm: Mama'a Family 9:30pm: Happy Days 11pm: Carol Burnett Saturday: nothing Sunday: The Brady Bunch Brunch 2-3pm: Facts of Life 3-4pm: Mama's Family If I'm up early, I'll also watch "Beverly Hillbillies", "Leave It to Beaver", "Petticoat Junction", & "ALF" when they air. |

I watch "Svengoolie", of course, on Saturdays.
I wish that " Remington Steele" was there instead of "Diagnosis Murder". |
