Default Is it possible?

Is it possible some members here know or have met other posters in real life without realizing it? If we never reveal our true identity online, you never know if some of the faces you see in real life you also know via this site. It's something I've pondered occasionally.

I know that Liza and I were at Dark Shadows Fest over at the Marriott in Downtown Brooklyn back in 2011, but we didn't realize it until after.

angiefan lives about 10 miles from me in a different town. I could have seen her in a restaurant or store without knowing it. I haven't seen her online for quite a while.

I know some people from another forum I belong to who have heard of this before. In fact, I recommended this one to one of them and happened to join not too long after.

I know there have been members that actually met, and also a few that actually went to school together and were friends in real life that all joined here. I know there were some from Texas, but never met them, but of course I could've walked past them or something LOL

This didn't happen here but I used to post as a now defunct board. I guess I shouldn't have been surprised I knew some of the people offline because it was a board catering to a local place that was famous (I'm trying to be not so obvious). Anyway there was one guy on there who could be a jerk at times and I would argue with him. Nothing bannable, just "this is why you're wrong". Long story short, it was an exboyfriend! I didn't know this until he posted something that only he would know. I don't think he knew it was me, but who knows? Many years later he sent me a message on Classmates and on Facebook. Weird, isn't it? He was someone who dumped me cruelly and publicly and I could only forgive him if he said he was sorry. Otherwise, nope.

TVAdam lives fairly close to me - its actually on the other side of town so its a little inconvenient, but he works at Kroger as a bagger - I like to follow him around the store stalking him and writing incoherent notes in a little notepad. I don't think he's noticed, so keep it quiet man.

tenter, who updates the Nick at Nite threads, also lives in Fort Wayne. I do not know what she looks like but it is possible I will meet her sometime.
