Grimm's Fairy Tale Classics
Saban made a wonderful cartoon adaption of the Brothers Grimm's classic fairy tales in a cartoon called Grimm's Fairy Tale Classics and featuring some of the classic fairy tales including Rapunzel Snow White And Rose Red Cinderella and my favorite fairy tale The Frog Prince. I don't know when this cartoon series first debuted on TV or what channel aired it but the animation looks impressive and delightful and is simply a cartoon filled with joy

This was a Japanese series and Saban only dubbed it into English, they had nothing to do with its production.
It originally aired on Nick jr. In the US starting in 1987. Select episodes are available on dvd in the UK, including one episode that was never aired in the US as it was deemed to graphic for a young audience- "Bluebeard" |
