The S8 ep. today has her playing a role, as Bernice, a freshman (Jeff is a soph). They should have brought her back as Angie.

I saw the episode. She was such a pretty girl and appealing actress it's sad that her career was coming to an end after only three more appearances as Bernice that season and a movie with Clint Walker. She really deserved a longer career and I can't see how she didn't get more TV work, other than if she didn't want to try for it anymore. Can't blame her if that was the case, but she was certainly good enough to have a longer career.
There are a couple later credits listed that were not her and yet they stay uncorrected, so she may consider it not worth bothering with -- and maybe that was her feeling about chasing more acting jobs in the '60s. It wasn't as big a payday for most actors back then, so it wasn't like giving up something that was making them wealthy. Whatever, she was a nice actress and the boy who played her brother on the Lucy show said she was a very nice girl. She would be an interesting interview. |

She really stood out in the episode, Rally Around the Girls, Boys. Very photogenic and animated in her speech. The episode seemed to focus more on her than Donna.

Love the topic, oddly Candy Moore played three different characters (all as a semi girlfriend to Jeff), I agree she should have been Angie for whenever they used her.
In season 8 I believe she is called "BB" in the episode and played that character 3 times total in season 8 episodes. Her last appearance was in S8 episode #264 "How To Handle A Woman" airing on December 30, 1965. I thought BB was a nickname for Beatrice but she is credited for playing three different characters at IMDB. Oddly her last credit was a cheap movie not as a star in 1981, yet I think with such a name, it might not even be the actual actress. I wonder if Candy Moore was her birth name what were her parents thinking? LOL She was very pretty and played the typical 60's teen perfectly. Her largest role seems to be in the mid 60's color feature "Tomboy And The Champ". |

Right, that wasn't her in Lunch Wagon, Raging Bull, or posing for an album cover. Yet, it's never been corrected at IMDB. The Candy Moore from The Donna Reed Show and The Lucy Show had an acting career that unfortunately ended in 1966.

![]() ![]() Here are the most "recent" pictures I can find of a older Candy Moore taken at Charles Lane's 100th birthday on January 26, 2005. The man on the right is Jimmy Garrett who played Lucy's son. Here's a link: http://www.lucyfan.com/charleslaneparty.html |

Jimmy Garrett played Lucy's son. Ralph Hart played Viv's son.
