Star Fairies
In 1985 Hanna Barbera launched a cartoon based on a toyline of dolls made by Tonka Toys called Star Fairies and was one of the most magical cartoons of the 80's. Star Fairies also featured the voice of the late Jonathan Winters as the voice of one of the characters. It seemed that cartoons starring magical fairies were huge in the 80's starting with Star Fairies and Hasbro's Moondreamers cartoon and Star Fairies was also released on video that is now out of print

I believe this was just an animated special and not an actual series, unless it was chopped up at some point.
