Do you believe the Apollo Moon Landing was Faked? I really Don't know if I think it was or not. I think I do believe its Faked but well, I am not sure.

Anyway here is an interesting website that is trying to prove it was faked. The site is like 26 pages long.

I think I saw a tv special on FOX about this and they had all this evidence that it could've been faked like that they weren't walking the right speed they would be if they were truly on the moon.

Default It's gotta be real...

...'cause I saw it on TV!

And I suppose you think Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny are fake too, smarty pants!

Seriously though...if it indeed was faked, the parties involved did one HECKUVA job covering it up! We're talking astronauts, their families, engineers, electricians, technicians, even janitors had to keep things under wraps!

I just find it hard to believe THAT many people can keep their mouths shut THAT long!

Oh great! Another conspiracy chat!

When you think about it, the folks at mission control were watching the whole thing on a TV screen. So, the signal could have come from anywhere. It's not like they had an entire press corps full of network news cameras following some astronauts on the moon. And what about the big spacesuits the astronauts wear? Can't exactly see their faces in those things, can you?

Basically the astronauts did launch themselves in space, while the exploits on the surface of the moon were filmed somewhere on earth and those images sent to mission control, which in turn showed them to us. Then the capsule lands in the ocean, and bingo, a moon landing hoax.

At least that's what I think happened...

We'll know soon enough...the Japenese are sending up a probe to the moon sometime in the next few years that will take pictures of the moon...if the flag is not there, then it is faked.

But I agree JennyLee if it turns out not to be real..

I'm sorry but this is rediculous! I've never heard of a stupider theory than to say that we never landed on the moon. The people that honestly think that just want to think it - conspiracy freaks. We DID land on the moon - there is not a doubt in my mind. And it's not because I don't know about the theory, it's just that if you think about it, the theory is weak at best.

1) People aren't walking the right speed on the moon. Um, people control their own speed, suspended by the forces of gravity, and take into account that this is footage from the 1950s.... you have your answer.

2) The flag was waving when there isn't any wind on the moon. Well the flag wasn't exactly "waving" it is spread out stiff. The flag was specially crafted at Nasa so that it would be stiffened out when placed on the moon.

I won't go on and on, but I think it's a great insult to the truly wonderful pioneers of our time like Neil Armstrong to even suggest that he didn't do what he worked so hard to do. He deserves his fame - as does every man and woman that made it on the Apollo missions. BTW, do you think they faked APOLLO 13??? Where would be the benifit in that?

If the flag was waving, wouldn't that mean that the moon landing was fake? I mean, for the flag to be waving, there has to be an atmosphere or some sort of wind, right? And, if there is no atmosphere on the moon, how could any of that be possible?

I still have yet to hear anything from Neil Armstrong about the fact that it's being disproved. Is it my imagination or is he hiding behind Nasa's skirt?
