OK...Here's A Question For Brady Fans:

In the episode where the kids are all playing Monopoly ("Is There a Doctor in the House?") what is totally unrealistic about the game they are playing? (2 things that I can think of that probably gave Robert Reed an ulcer during filming--but they are pretty obvious!) Can you name them?

One is that Jan bought a hospital. There are no hospitals in Monopoly.

Hmm.......................... I remember noticing something wrong about this episode, but I haven't seen it in a while and I'm not sure what it is now. Was it the Jan buying the hospital? Or was it also the second thing I noticed?

Guess here: They didn't build houses and hotels evenly--some monopolies had a hotel when the same group had less than 4 houses.

I guess Robert Reed didn't know how to play Monopoly.

Actually even though he was fighting for realism as late as the filming of The Bradys, he didn't object when Mike's middle name was changed from Paul (which it was when he married Carol) to Thomas (which Peter says repeatedly when Mike was elected to city council). I was irritated every time Peter said "Michael Thomas Brady", and one of the Brady books mentioned that Sherwood got dozens of letters about the mistake later.
