Just got done with this segment again. For some reason, this was a case that always stuck with me.
In the UM episode, Lisa, her mother, claims she has no idea why Heidi sees spirits. However, in a documentary called 'A Haunting in Georgia' it is explained (even by Lisa herself) that their family was full of mediums and has been drawn to spirits for generations. Even Lisa had admitted to seeing spirits st times. So why in the UM episode she makes it seems like this came out of the blue and that Heidi is the only one who ever saw things, just baffles me. |

Yeah I've wanted to know more about this case. When I ran Heidi Wyrick through Google, one of the suggestions that comes up is"Heidi Wyrick hoax" but there didn't seem to be anything definitive. Was hoping someone knew something.

I do believe the family does possess psychic powers. I highly recommend the documentary A Haunting in Georgia, as it goes into much more details. The UM episode was very glossed over. Heidi is now grown, married and with 2 children. Sadly, her father, Andy Wyrick, passed away in 2012. I think he was only in his 40's.
