Fox Family Channel launched a unique and interactive game show named Paranoia in 2000 at the time that the million dollar game show craze was all the rage. Paranoia consisted of a contestant trying to win a million dollar prize while trying to battle three contestants who tried to answer the same question that the contestant was asked and if by chance he/she got it right the contestant had to make sure the outside contestant got it wrong and if he/she did they would get a strike and three strikes got an outside contestant out of the game and the rules remained the same for the other two contestants but however if the outside contestant got lots of questions right the contestant playing would lose all his/her winnings. People could also call a special telephone number to play along with Paranoia and lots of other interactive ways to play were also used in Paranoia as well. Paranoia was also the final game show of Peter Tomarken's career before dying in a tragic plane crash. It would sure be nice to see more interactive game shows like Paranoia being made in the future because they would be entertaining to watch on TV

Paranoia also featured a bonus round where the contestant had to choose question categories and had to answer all the questions in all the question categories and if they got all the answers right the contestant won money. Paranoia was truly one game show that really brought a whole new look to new interactive game shows and truly paved the way for more interactive game shows on TV. I'm surprised Peter Tomarken hosted Paranoia because I thought he had disappeared after guest starring on Whammy The All New Press Your Luck on GSN and had hosted a game show called Wipeout in 1989

Hi, Bestie! If they brought Paranoia back, who would be a good host? I think Gilbert Gottfried would be a great host. What do you think?

I've never heard of this show. Of course I didn't have cable back then.
