Default "Facts of Life" Limericks

I was inspired by the haiku thread (which I hope still continues) to start this one. Just pick a character or facet of the show and limerick away!

--------------------------------------------------------------

There once was a student named Blair,
Who was known for her looks and blond hair
A beautiful teen
Even thrice Harvest Queen™
But living with her could be a bear

Haha! That's great, '80s!

Here's one:

An Eastland gal named Sue Ann Weaver
Had been a scholastic achiever
But then Helen Hunt
Had her smoking a blunt
And in Season Two we barely see her

Ha! That's a great one too! lol!

Continuing tributes to the Lost Girls:

There once was a brunette named Molly
Who, when women ran things, was quite jolly
She loved to take pictures
But somebody ditched her
Then she became a star in "Woodholly"

(creative license haha, lol)

Haha! That's wonderful!

A pigtailed young tomboy named Cindy
Co-starred with Kim, Lisa, and Mindy
But there were "too many students"
And in a moment imprudent
They fired her, hearts made of flint-y

Ha! Nice one!

There once was a Bates boy named Roger
Who met Nancy and didn't dodge her
They spoke on the phone
When they felt alone
And avoided "the Croc", the old codger

That's awesome!

The Eastland headmaster Steve Bradley
Did thirteen shows happy and gladly
But big changes await us
He came back from hiatus
And his role's not there anymore, sadly

Aww, that's good, but sad! lol...a bittersweet one.

There was once was a Teacher Mahoney
Whose ethics were pure, not baloney
She had rabbits in trouble
And dashed on the double
But her part ended up a tombstone-y

(lol)

There once was a Bradley named Stephen
Who got Mrs. Garrett to peevin'
He thought he was boss
But his speech was at loss
When after 13 shows he was leavin'

There once was a tough girl named Jo
Who kept snooty Blair Warner in tow
When Blair had a snit
Jo threatened a bit
This snobby blue blood of the show!

Nice!

Here's a poem which isn't actually a limerick, but I'll stick it here anyway.

Eastland school is hella nifty
Mrs. G is very thrifty
And her charges all are great
Through the years they numbered eight
First she bonded with was Nancy
Sewing for her costumes fancy
Then old Garrett helped another,
Blair the rich girl, with her mother
Cindy needed help with running
Garrett's help was more than stunning
Sue Ann Weaver smoked some dope
Mrs. G was there to cope
Molly, Tootie, Natalie
All were mentored by Ms. G
Lastly entered Jo the hoodlum
Garrett took her to her bosom
Showed her how to dress and dance
And she took them all to France
Sadly, Eastland years would end
Farewell to our Eastland friends!

Whoa whoa, we're getting away from limericks on these last two, lol, but some good stuff there: Retro, yours reminds me of that '80s song "88 Lines About 44 Women", lol.

There was once a male cook named Howard,
Who was anything but a big coward
He helped Mrs. G
Cook food for plenty
And then he went upstairs and showered

(lol)

I hadn't ever heard that song, but I just googled it.

Yeah, you've totally got the rhtyhm!

There once was a Garrett named Robert
Who was clearly a man, not a Hobbirt (ha)
He couldn't help gambling
And kept right on rambling
'Til Edna left him and moved forward

(okay, so that one didn't exactly end with the proper rhyme---guess ya can't win 'em all! lol)
