2. Wally mentioned Tooey played the tuba (for the last 5 years?) and that Tooey's mom polished it for him.

In the episode Music Lesson. She's playing for band tryouts. This is the episode Beaver tries to play clarinet.

That's right Judy is trying to play the piano and Mr. Willets is suffering through it. Judy says if she doesn't make the band her mother is going to call Mr. W. She also says how Beaver only got to try the clarinet because Mr. W. had an extra one. I thought I remember Lumpy saying he played the flute as well as clarinet and tuba. Think he says that in Wally's Test.
