CBS is partnering with the Estate of Michael Jackson for Michael Jackson‘s Halloween, a hour-long animated special that will feature music from his extensive discography and an exciting voice cast.

The special follows two millennials, Vincent (Lucas Till) and Victoria (Kiersey Clemons), who meet “accidentally” on Halloween night and find themselves, along with Ichabod the dog, at a mysterious hotel located at 777 Jackson Street called This Place Hotel (which is a reference to Jackson’s 1980s song of the same name).

Naturally, a magical adventure ensues the moment they enter, and it culminates with a dance finale featuring an animated King of Pop.

Created and produced by Optimum Productions, with animation by Hammerhead, Michael Jackson’s Halloween will be directed by Mark A.Z. Dippé (The Boxcar Children) and produced by Daniel Chuba. John Branca and John McClain, co-executors of the singer-dancer’s estate, will also serve as executive producers.

Christine Baranski, Alan Cumming, George Eads, Brad Garrett, Lucy Liu, and Jim Parsons will also lend their voices to the event.

This seems good to me, too, whether it be consisting of two-dimensional animation or not (I probably would had made it with two-dimensional animation rather than three-dimensional animation if I were responsible for it).

How can CBS make a Halloween animated special devoted to Michael Jackson? This idea is very clever and cool and I think the Michael Jackson Halloween special will be really funny. As a Michael Jackson fan I think the estate will do an awesome job partnering with CBS to do this cartoon special. And with an awesome voice cast this is one animated special that will get aired every Halloween

Michael Jackson's Halloween airs Friday, Oct. 27 at 8/7c on CBS.

I saw Michael Jackson's Halloween animated special and from what I saw of it Michael Jackson's Halloween looked amazing and I was surprised at how well the Estate Of Michael Jackson managed to create an amazing cartoon of Michael Jackson's fun songs. I really hope CBS makes a sequel to this cartoon special next year because I sense a sequel being made very soon
