For those with security systems, do you know if there are anything that would work for someone that's blind? Do the systems require having to see things on small screens and/or enter a code quickly? With my extremely limited vision that would be difficult to do.The added safety sounds nice, but I can only imagine how expensive it is to have installed and then pay every month for.
Any thoughts or tips on what I might try or look into? |

I think the best thing is to contact a home security company and ask them these questions.

Your situation is probably not unique, so I would imagine at least some companies will have accommodations. Try getting in touch with a company and see if they have the right equipment for you.
