I wonder if a Like button feature would work. Basically a way to let another poster know you've read and/or enjoyed their post. A lot of times I've read an interesting thread or post, but I don't really have anything else to add, so I just move on and the poster may never know anyone read their thread because it got no replies.
I don't know how/if vBulletin would handle such a feature but it's just a thought. |

I think that's an awesome idea. I feel the same way you do about it. I think it would work.

They should also have an Ambivalent button.

A like button would be nice.

I'm all for it as long as a 'dislike' button comes with it.
I can't wait to start giving those out. |

In my opinion, adding a like button, dislike button, or anything else related, would not be a good idea. I think it would cause problems. This is a message board, not Facebook.

I think a like button would be OK, but a dislike woudn't!! I think it would hurt people's feelings if people were giving their posts a thumbs down cause everyone is entitled to their opinion. Unless someone is being mean or rude, posters shouldn't give other posters a "dislike"! So I think like button, yes OK,even though I'm not that thril led with that idea!! Nay on a dislike button!!!

To me it's almost like we already have them.

I agree with most of the sentiment about the dislike button. Personally I see that as causing more harm than good, for the reasons Bonnie mentioned.

There's no point in having a 'like' button without a 'dislike' button.
