Am I the only one that does not understand what a meme is? It's been
explained to me but I still don't get it. Does anyone have a good example? |

You're not alone! I'm sure a lot of people have no idea what they mean. I didn't even know until a few years ago.
Basically, I would describe them as widely-spread photos and graphics illustrating relatable and/or humorous experiences or messages, usually with references to popular culture to make them even more specific and confusing to most other people. I can't find a perfect example but chances are you've seen them before, even if you don't know what they're called. |

Actress Laura Dern embraces her memes, even though she doesn't understand them.

Here's a Munsters/Donald Trump political meme. And also a paranormal meme. They're usually pretty humorous.

Thanks everyone for your input. I guess I'll watch a few and see if there's a
common theme, maybe that will them more understandable. |
