Has 4th Of July themed programming become rare to see on TV today?

This year I have noticed that America themed programming is becoming rare to find on TV these days and I would like to know why this is? Is it because 4th Of July themed shows are no longer being made or is it to save money for other holiday programming? It used to be that every July 4th the stations would have America themed programming and sitcoms would have special episodes devoted to 4th Of July but this year it seemed like there were no 4th Of July themed shows and the only America themed programming shown on TV was the Macy's 4th Of July Fireworks special and the PBS annual show A Capitol Fourth and so it tells me that 4th Of July themed shows and sitcom episodes have gone out of style
Why is there a lack of July 4th themed programming these days?

You have to look for the right stations. TCM aired Yankee Doodle Dandy and 1776 last night.

A religious station aired a live salute to veterans from the Kennedy Center in Washington, last Saturday night. It was on some network I've never heard of, Daystar or something like that. It was repeated on the 4th.

Not really surprised.By in large,the TV executives,actors,media,etc don't really like this country and what it stands/used to stand for. Sad.

Most soap operas had a Fourth of July episode where the families would get together, watch fireworks, have a picnic, raise the flag, etc. However, most of them are gone now so there's a definite vacuum there. Plus most of the regular series are in reruns during the summer. I don't remember a ton of Fourth of July programming when I was younger, and I'm fairly old.
