Because of how many threads I have made about "Samantha's Protest", I have heard from some people who have thought this was my favorite episode. In actuality, it is my third favorite episode. My favorite episode of the whole series is "Katie Steals Julie's Jock". The thing that I like best about this episode is how beautiful Julie looked in her designer boots! My second favorite episode is the "Emergency". This is my second favorite because of how much I love Nell's interactions with the little busy body on the pay phone! Even though "Samantha's Protest" is only my third favorite, I have written so much about it because of how much of an impact the moral of the story had on me. There are so many things in real life as well as in other media that reminds me of it. Well, the title of this thread is in regards to something else that is number three. "And Tango Makes Three" is a children's book about two gay male penguins raising a baby female penguin. It is similar to stories like "Heather has Two Mommies" and "Daddy's Roommate". There are various uploads regarding this book over on You Tube. Back in 2015, someone uploaded a video stating that this was the third most complained about book in the United States. My guess would be that the people who protested this book were of the same mentality as those were protested books written by liberal authors like Judy Blume. If you go back far enough, you can come to the sticks in the mud who protest books like "Huckleberry Finn" and the "Catcher in the Rye". In any event, I am writing about it here because it is the third most complained about book and "Samantha's Protest" is number three on my priority list. If anyone wants to read any more about my ideas about this book, they can head over to the "Brady Bunch" page. I recently started a thread there called "Borrowing a Term".
