I wonder what the reasoning behind this is. I know some episodes have been left out due to legal reasons.
For those who do not remember this case, it was of a college freshman named Sarah. She was friends with a man named Wadada. I'm not sure exactly what country he was from, but they said he spoke with a heavy Caribbean accent. I don't believe he was a student at the university, but rather just hung around and mooched off of students. He ended up raping and beating Sarah with a hammer. By some miracle, she survived and was able to identify Wadada as her attacker. He hasn't been seen since. Despite not haven seen this episode in close to 20 years, it still sticks in my mind as one of the most terrifying UM segments ever. |

Aww, that's a shame. Wadada sounded so freaky from the way they described him with the claw hand, but he was one of my favorites.

Glad I have this segment on my bootleg set. I think the set was done by Crystal Dawn. I got it on ioffer. It has over 1,000 segments.

Sucks this isn't included. This segment and his little chicken wing of a hand were super creepy. Looks like something from a bad b-movie.

Sidenote: Sarah Beard's rape and attempted murder by Wadada, Kaitlyn Arquette's murder and Tara Calico's disappearance. All three girls were students at the University of New Mexico. And even though there are strong theories, all three cases are still unsolved and nobody has been punished for the crimes.
UM's unluckiest school? Sheesh. |

The actor, Jeffrey Anderson-Gunter, also has a fairly extensive filmography. When the UM segment originally aired, I remember immediately recognizing him as a henchman from the Steven Seagal film, "Marked for Death". He also had a bit part in "Naked Gun 33 1/3", which came out only a month after he portrayed Wadada: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0027599/?ref_=tt_cl_t13 |

I did the exact same thing! I was chanting in the car, and my daughter was begging me to stop!

Very good question, freakbook. Though I'm not sure if he was actually enrolled in classes or not. The vibe I got, though it has been so long since I've seen the episode, was that he just hung around and kind of lived off of his friends.
Anyone who has seen it more recently remember if he was a student or not? |
