Oh good. According to the missing segment log on this site, he was listed.

I also just discovered that "Tallman House" is on the Ghosts set released by First Look. Weird it made it to DVD but not streaming.

Tara Calico and Orange Socks. Those are classics, and it's a real shame they're missing.

The Orange Sock murders are, to me, the type of case that made UM great. It is an unexplained death(s) with a huge, bizarre twist. I think of this case and Charles Morgan as two of my favorite cases. I hope it eventually does show up on Amazon.

Olberholtzer/Schnee (Orange Sock Murders) is definitely at the very top of the list and it frankly isn't even close. It's an unconscionable travesty that it was omitted for any reason. This one has to be one of the top ten UM segments ever made when you consider all facets of it. Excellent production, creepy/scary setting, two seemingly unrelated victims, one suspect that knew them both yet clearly didn't do it, no real person of interest, still unsolved, etc. This one damn sure better be included to help fill the gaps in later seasons otherwise it will be a huge disappointment to say the least. It's definitely somewhere in the Farina episodes, so rights or whatever clearly aren't an issue.

Having said all that, the other segments in my baker's dozen that were omitted that I'd most like to see added are:

1. Diana Robertson/Mike Riemer (very interesting case that now has new leads)
2. Tara Calico/Michael Henley (even though the photo is very likely not her, it's still an iconic UM image/story)
3. Tallman's Ghost (I'm not a big fan of the ghost stories, but this is probably the very best one. I have the First Look DVD that it is included on so if I really want to watch it, I still can. It's still a super classic season one segment that everyone remembers so it should be included)
4. Mark Groezinger (UM profiled plenty of men accused of killing their spouses but this one is the complete opposite which was a nice change of pace)
5. Wadada (just a strange character that is impossible to forget)
6. Bonnie Wilder (this was an ENORMOUS omission, enough said)
7. Doyle Wheeler (I found this one interesting and it seems to be quite rare as I haven't seen it in a very long time)
8. Morris Davis (this one fascinated the hell out of me. Was likely omitted due to half of the segment featuring law enforcement chasing a false lead)
9. Sacramento Thrill Killer (sure, it's been solved for a very long time but segments like this one and Morris Davis with random killers are signature UM that scared the crap out of you)
10. George Owens (I just felt so bad for this poor old man, nearly broke my heart)
11. L'enfant Phone Calls (just plain weird and creepy)
12. Gulf Breeze UFO (I'm not really into the UFO segments by and large, but this was the very first one UM ever profiled and went down in history as a great hoax)

Maybe they lost her?

I'm also bugged this one was omitted.

And yes, I agree with you re: Schnee/Oberholtzer and Riemer/Robertson. Both fascinating cases that deserve all the attention they can get. And both classic UM segments.

Supposedly The Mike Reimer and Diane Robertson case is coming at some point, at least that's what the official site says.

Some of the Final Appeal segments like Jeffrey MacDonald, Luis Diaz, Paul Ferrell, and Steve Shores are missing. They are on the Farina version so I don't get it

Hopefully they will.

I've also been trying to see if there are any segments included on the First Look sets that are not on Amazon. So far the "Tallman House" and "Face on Mars" are on FL but not Amazon...

MacDonald, Ferrell, Shores, Miller, Montecalvo, and Drake were all episodes of the short-lived Final Appeal miniseries and never had their own UM segments. They were worked in to the Farina version. Unfortunately, CM has indicated they have no plans to release Final Appeal to streaming, so we likely will not get these.
