The Cost of Living episode kevin does not defend himself
Should kevin have defended himself in the episode in the cost of living when the old gulf man was trying to bully him around the gulf park ???

I think as the episode progressed Kevin realized what his father went through at his job (Jack would say “Whatever you say Ken” or something like that) and started to emphazise with his father, as if Kevin accepted being pushed around. Kevin knew it would be pointless to pose an argument due to the potential backlash he may receive from Ken (One of Jacks bosses) This like many episodes just shows how consistently solid this show is and being very true to life.
