Question What's with the pants?

I'm sure most of you Beaver fans have noticed that Beaver and his friends wear their pants rolled up at least 5 inches.
Whats up with that? Was this the style back then? I chuckle every time I see this. I think, man how dumb you guys look. I've noticed that Wally never had jeans like that.
Any old timer thoughts on this? I'm only in my early 30's.

I'm not that old.......... But, In the 50's alot of kids wore their pants like this. It was the style back then. They use to wear those pants with the loafers and white socks. Maybe you don't see Wally wearing it because he's a bit older than Beaver. As a matter of fact, I saw the style come back here in NY.

Yeah, it was the style. Have you ever seen the movie The Long, Long Trailer with Desi Arnaz and Lucille Ball? Desi wore his pants in the same style too. Guess it was just something to do in the 50's that showed style.

It's no worse than kids today wearing their pants around their butt instead of their waist. Years from now, people are going to look back on this current fad and have a field day.

Man, oh man, kids these days!!!

It's like they're all going to a circus or something!

Hahahahahahahahaha!

I can't wait till they realize how stupid that look is!

If they're going to show that much, why even wear pants??

That new low sagging look is hysterical!!
