Sad RIP Adam West.

He was our hero in the 60's. When we were four or five, our lives revolved around that time slot twice a week when Batman and Robin were out to do battle with The Joker, The Penguin, Catwoman, and The Riddler.

He inspired so many of us to take up careers in crime fighting and driving awesome cars while dressed in nifty capes and masks.

Adam West. I guess they'll place the Batcorpse in the Batcasket, which will be placed in the Bathearse, from whence will be driven to the Batcemetary, where the late Adam West will be laid to rest in the Battomb.

(Sorry, I just I jist HAD to do this!, no harm intended!)

When a really big actor dies, it's okay to have multiple threads, usually on their show's forum and on the Chit Chat forum. The same thing was done when Mary Tyler Moore died.

Never missed an episode. Quite a character. Batman, too, of course.

Ok, I'm curious. Where was this news first posted? Before I posted mine I looked at all of the obvious places and there is no Batman forum. I didn't see it on Chit Chat . Had it been pushed off yesterday's forum? And yes, it is normal to have multiple posts on a famous person. Bur if I see one I usually won't start a new thread.

Not meaning to belabor the subject but I did a search and found the original thread by Zoneboy. It was posted on the Classic dramas/dramadies forum! I would never had looked there as I always considered Batman a sitcom. No wonder I couldn't find it!

It is not until now that I realized that Adam West had Swedish ancestry.

RIP.
