The first Spider-Man animated television series premiered on ABC in 1967 and ran for two seasons (1967 -1969). The animated series was based on the 1962 Spiderman Comic book character. This weekend the Spdierman movie raked in $114M, setting records at the box office.
Does anyone remember the original Spiderman animated series? I remember watching this series during the late 60s. I particularly remember the theme song. http://www.spidermancollector.com/ |

If it's the same one I'm thinking of I rememebr watching it just as cable opened here in the late 80's. I used to love it when I was young and get up every Saturday mornining for it.
Did the theme go something like- Spiderman, Spiderman Does whatever a spider can |

I remember the old Spidey cartoon series.
Does anyone know what company did that show? It was shown constantly in reruns here in the New York area. The animation was a bit cheesy at times by today's standards, but I was hooked. A comic book store here in the city sells bootleg copies of the episodes. Think I'll go pick one up. |
